Privacy Policy

Effective: May 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SwingVault ("we," "us," "the Service") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our baseball swing analysis application. By using SwingVault, you agree to this policy.

Important — videos of athletes, including minors: SwingVault is a tool used by coaches who film athletes, many of whom are minors. If you are a coach or user, you are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions and parental/guardian consent before recording, uploading, or analyzing video of any minor. See the "Minors" section below.

Information We Collect

Information We Do NOT Store on Our Servers

Uploaded video files remain on your device. Full videos are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. Only the specific frames you submit for AI analysis are transmitted, and only for the moment needed to generate your report.

How We Use Information

Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third parties to operate SwingVault:

Minors

SwingVault is intended for use by coaches and adult users, not for direct use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Because coaches may record and analyze video of minor athletes, the coach/user is solely responsible for obtaining parental or guardian consent before capturing, uploading, or analyzing any minor's image or information. If you believe a minor's information has been improperly provided to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and profile data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated stored data at any time by contacting us using the details below. Video files you store locally are deleted when you remove them from your device.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, including device-based access limits and secured storage. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep your device ID, login session, and locally saved content. Clearing your browser data may remove this information from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
